so, in response to this question i posed about how the quantity of paper people consume on a communal printer might vary with the amount of paper readily available, here’s the answer from this specific situation : people printed hardly anything. we used less than 50 sheets of paper. so… yea! to laptops, email & usb keys. people were just swapping files, not printing stuff out....
